This pretty yellow pea (Pultenea villosa) is flowering in the garden this week. It has the slightly unattractive common name of Hairy Bush Pea but the hairy bits do give the plant a soft appearance. It flowers in late winter and grows in open coastal forests of Queensland - so well suited to my garden. I have done a few rough sketches as I think it has potential for a new design.
It's windy here today - so pleased I went for a bike ride the other day.
